Several months ago when I tried to visit this site I had various error messages which led me to believe it was no longer active. People I had recommended the site to didn't fare any better than I did. In fact it was when I was trying to introduce a friend in Europe to this site that I discovered the problem.
Imagine my surprise and joy to find a link back to here at the Rudolf Steiner Archive (http://www.rsarchive.org/index.php) this Christmas morning.
Many thanks to Tom for this site and I'm looking forward to the new study.

Nice to hear from you again Barbara. It was over two months before I noticed that new content I was posting to the web site was not visible to people who were not signed in. This was very shocking as it made it look like nothing was happening at the site. It is amazing how much goes into keeping a little web site like this working and upgraded. It wouldn't exist if my son Luke wasn't a computer science major in college.
Right now he is working to get a mailing system working for the new Philosophy of Freedom Study Course. Yesterday I accidentally deleted two weeks of work done on the study course. This was depressing to say the least and would have delayed the start of the course. It was not a trash bin deletion that is easily recoverable but a permanent deletion. But Luke was able to recover it.
This Friday, Dec. 29, the course will be mailed out to over 4000 people interested in Steiner and posted on other sites where people have not heard of Steiner. This will be done weekly. The hope is to get a discussion about the book going every week. It takes a few brave souls to get it going. So I hope everyone participates. It should be interesting and fun. -Tom

It was worse than not being able to see new content, I couldn't see anything at all. I intended to write to you to see if you had saved your material anywhere but procrastinated up to and including today.
I blush to think that my problem might possibly be something as silly/stupid as putting "the" in front of PoF for the website address but I do know that I had the site in my favourites so that "the" can't be the only problem.
Anyway, I'm thrilled you're all still around and look forward to finally getting going.
