For Steiner that would sound like "non-animal plants", or "non-plant minerals", or nonsense :).

The joke above seems to be written by an Alicia Hamberg, former board member of PLANS Inc in SF, who also seems to be the person behind "Dr. Speculation". She is also author of the blog post she herself quotes.

Since some time, she's engaged full-time in joking, heckling and spreading information about criticism and defamation about Steiner Waldorf education in different forums on the internet. She's one of the main participants on the WC-list" who works to keep it alive, by working as its "world reporter" about criticism of Waldorf education and other things related to anthroposophy on the net.

This is her pet Dog, that she usually jokingly refers to as "God" and describes as the King in her life.

At twitter, she's written 14.000+ comments the last few years and she has made her blog into the main source of criticism and defamation of Steiner Waldorf education on the net in Europe, ... but in a "nice" way.

It has nothing to do with me. And I am not bitter -- I am angry, and I am justified in being angry. I got a shitty education, Sune! That's what you have to deal with. You should not make me a scapegoat for the failings of the education system you defend.

And, Sune, you're the one who's doing this 'full-time'. I'm not. You're employed by the Swedish Waldorf Federation, who apparently support you in your spouting crap about people -- including former waldorf students -- all over the internet.

I was on the board of Plans for a very short period of time. I support waldorf criticism, but I'm not going to be engaged in organized waldorf criticism. It's a good cause, but I can't do it. And you know that. Also, you know very well I don't defame Steiner -- I do much less to hurt him than you do. 

I have to say, Sune, you certainly do your best to piss people off.

It seems I cannot edit my comments above. Later info after I posted it has revealed that someone else than Zooey wrote the joking posting about "caninosophy" above, that I commented on. There are clearly other people than Zooey at this site with some humour. That she does not want to take any credit for having inspired such a fascinating and intelligent posting is somewhat difficult to understand.

Thank you The Bee / Sune! And you're quite right that there is a connection between thinking and smelling -- mr Dog verifies this. As well as willing and smelling. Actually, I think Steiner's idea of a 'World as Will and Smell' is brilliant. It's not at all off the point, not even in the real world outside of anthroposophy.

And I happily take credit for inspiring the post about canineosophy, so there's nothing to understand there. It's just that I'm not Dr Speculation. And that's a rather important distinction. I have enjoyed some posts by Dr Speculation though -- perhaps in particular the one about gnomes and crop circles. 

Of course, the real credit goes to dr Dog, who is the one who taught me about canineosophy. Then one day I googled it and found, to my surprise, Steiner.  And Pschulek.Unfortunately I only found one photo of Steiner with a dog. It may not be Pschulek but another dog.

You mean "Thank Dog", that to you is the same as "Thank God" ...

Dr Speculation's profile does not offer any contact possibility to ask what the theme of his Ph.D dissertation was.

I think it had something to do with Crop Circles being the missing link between the Great Pyramids and Stonehenge.

Just wanted to give you a heads up on what your self-trolling speculation hath wrought on this site.  You have managed to attract to your site possibly the greatest and most prolific serial cyber-stalker in the name of anthroposophy across the entire Steiner Internet Universe. The one and only Sullen Sune Nordwall, of Stockholm, Sweden, who calls himself TheBee, and whose current misogynistic bullying obsession is Alicia Hamberg, called Zooey, also from Stockholm, Sweden.

You see, the only reason Sune came here was to hound Zooey because he knew that she had written that Canineosophy post and so, just like any good anthroposophist would, he jumped to a wrong conclusion that Zooey was Dr. Speculation. Havnig done so, he then commenced his usual cyber-stalking.

Since you are the owner of this site, Tom, I’ll let you be the judge of whether Sune’s attempts to assassinate the character of Alicia in the first comment he made above and in the links about her he posted, all rise to the level of a “TOS violation."

However, whatever you decide, I would urge you not to delete his posting, but rather leave it up for all to read. Sune has been hired by the Swedish Federation of Waldorf Schools to monitor the Internet and try to bring good publicity instead of bad to Waldorf education in Sweden. But over the years he has earned quite a reputation as a fiercely petty, vindictive misogynist who harbors a special maliciousness for Waldorf mothers who dare to write anything online critical about their Waldorf school experiences on the various blogs out there.

As many of the established Waldorf critics have said:
 “Hey, with defenders like Sune, who needs critics?”

Over the course of my 34 years as an anthroposophist, I have amassed a storehouse of carnal experience, observations, knowledge and gossip all now ripened into mature carnal and incarnal wisdom, affording me trenchant insight into the curious mating habits and eccentric mating rituals of the hominid species, Homo Anthroposophicanus, most notably those specimens in the age range of middle-aged to elderly males. I am in complete agreement with this. It is actually better that the comment is left intact. He's guessing and speculating about the identities of waldorf critics all the time (which necessitates the stalking -- he's behaved worse toward others than to me) with the aim of making people feel uncomfortable. Most of the time -- if not all the time -- he's reaching in the dark, but still able to do much damage. Spectacular behaviour for someone who works for the waldorf movement. Rarely are his errors illustrated as neatly and straightforwardly as they have been here.  Besides, this turned out to be comedy gold, despite my initial anger.

Dear Zooey, Sune et al (including Tom L. and Tom M.),

Tom the Imker ought to be called Tom the Mocker.   I'll avoid diving into the history of this (all those old e-mails on Anthroposophia, and Steiner 98 etc. dicussion lists), but just state that: clever is as clever does.  The mind can generate all manner of kinds of thought, and the mocker loves his own clever thoughts above all else, including the truth.  The Truth (always in short supply) can generally be found in the company of the Good and the Beautiful, characteristics which mockery tends not to do well.  The intention to mock (make clever fun of another human being) while self-satisfing, usually does not provide light or warmth or understanding (also in short supply).

The teachings of the Holy Mother, in Her guise as the woman holding open the jaws of the lion in the 11th (according to Tomberg) Arcanum of the Tarot, endeavers not to use any kind of force at all, but to be so in communion with the lion that his strength becomes Hers (and Hers becomes his) such that forces of personality in the human being (that follow this teaching of the Holy Mother)  can choose to take the form of an emollient  - that is it enables even forces of opposition to appreciate each other in a loving fashion.  Blessed are the peacemakers ...

Mockery does not do this, but rather emphasizes that which divides and distinguishes.   The last thing the mocker wants to do is to identify with the object of his mockery, for that would be too painful ... to near a difficult self-truth.  Yet, only with identification can understanding be wrested from an oppositional situation and peacemaking be accomplished.  Tom the Mocker has himself cyber-stalked others, and loves to "pounce" from the sidelines, without ever exposing his own reality to either himself or others.   The mocking is a kind of shield which enables the already habitual and various froms of denial to continue.

Tom the Mocker would have done us all a far better service by using that clever intelligence to look at himself, and then confess to have within his own being not only a Zooey Impulse but a Sune Impulse as well.  The war between Waldorf Critics and Stalkers of Waldorf Critics is a tragedy.   As such it perhaps should be honored, given that our cyber-world makes such conflicts so easy - the participants (Zooey and Sune) were they to meet face to face would probably find a way to mutual comprehension and understanding, but in the cyber-world this is impossible.   Tom the Mocker adds nothing to the conversation of value, and actually makes matters worse.

Maybe some day in the future there will be 12 Step Groups for cyber-warriors and their mockers, where they can all practice confession and contrition and just learn to get over themselves and realize that the world has way too much goofy and useless antipathy;  and, while mocking appears humorous, it is not - it is merely clever.  If we laugh at its jests, we are no doubt following Michael Valentine Smith's obervation (from Heinlein's "Stranger in a Strange Land") when he observes (after much puzzlement) that the reason people laugh is so they  wont' have to cry.

This is absolutely ridiculous. It's not a question about disagreements. It's not about Sune's beliefs, or about him being an anthroposophist or anything like that. It's about Sune's behaviour. It's about him stalking people like me and posting vile crap. It's about anthroposophical organizations -- in this case the Swedish Waldorf School Federation -- endorsing his behaviour. Indeed -- the only way to deal with Sune and remain sane is to laugh about it. Or you would actually be crying. And he's simply not worth it.

Yes, it does add something, and no it doesn't make matters worse. I'm sick and tired of all the passive anthroposophists who believe they'd better not object to Sune's actions. It's just not enough to say 'blessed are the peacemakers' -- that's what I'd call self-satisfying gibberish. It's the kind of excuse of a lazy coward who wants to sit back and watch people get hurt and still congratulate himself for being a good human being. It's that self-congratulatory stuck-upped-ness so characteristic for some segments of the anthropsophical movement, actually. It's a comfortable attitude for people like Sune and those of his friends who hired him to 'monitor' (a euphemism, clearly, for his real mission) former students and parents, as well as for all of his supporters -- they think they're such blessed peacemakers for not getting involved. For not telling the bastard he's a bastard. If you see someone, even if it's just a complete stranger, getting beaten up by a thug, it's not really the moment for walking away, humming happily 'blessed are the peacemakers'.

As far as Sune is concerned, I feel there's absolutely nothing more one can do, except mock him relentlessly and make the Swedish Waldorf Federation feel ashamed of their utter stupidity. But I bet they're sitting around patting themselves on their backs saying 'blessed are the peacemakers', thinking that Sune is helping us nasty critics pay off our karmic debts.

This is a golden opportunity to do a “compare and contrast” essay, focusing first on the respective Messianic-Anthroposophical delusions of both Joel Wendt and Sune Nordwall and then their distinctly polarized styles of cyber-stalking. I don’t know how much this might help you, but it might at least give you a different perspective on Sune’s obsession with you.

And I would like to thank the Great Mr. Joel Wendt the Great for literally weighing in here with his unctuous hyperlexic portentousness and his smarmy corpulent pomposity, (a classic Pomposeur of the first magnitude, if you catch my drift!) so that he might provide such a clear contrast with Sune Nordwall.

Zooey, you may recall that in Curative Education, the children at any given Camphill institution are categorized according to their head size. So we have “large-headed children” (die großköpfigen Kinder) and the “small-headed children” (die kleinköpfigen Kinder)  [read Seiner’s 4 PM Conference with Waldorf teachers on Tuesday, February 2, 1923, GA 300B]

In my oh-so-clever fat-headed way, I have wittily re-named these categories as “Fat-headed-ness” (Großköpfigkeit)  vs. “Pin-Headed-ness.” (Kleinköpfigkeit)

Now the basic anthroposophical polarities are delineated by Dr. Med. Michaela Gloeckler on pages 105-107 in this AWSNA publication from 2003 called “Child development and Pedagogical Issues.”

So we have the polarities of:

Fatheads vs. Pinheads --- in the Physical Body  (their physiognomy)
Cosmic vs. Earthly --- in the Etheric Body   (their mental outlooks)
Fantasy-Rich vs. Fantasy-poor ----  in the Astral Body  (their actual behavior)

So now let us assign these polarities to Joel and Sune. (I don’t make these assignments as mutually exclusive, all or nothing; rather more like a 60% to 40% preponderance of one over the other. Therefore:

Joel Wendt
as Physical Fathead is . . . Cosmic in his Etheric Body . . . Fantasy-Rich in his Astral Body

while by contrast:

Sune Nordwall
as Physical Pinhead is . . . Earthly in his Etheric Body . . . Fantasy-Poor in the Astral Body

Elsewhere, Steiner indicates that Fatheads like Joel and myself are in “sympathy” with the Universe and that we are thus prone to Megalomania. (No ego boundaries) . . .
whereas, Pinheads like Sune suffer “antipathy” from the Universe, thus making them prone to Paranoia (too strong an ego boundary)

Now maybe I should go right to the stalking behavior as that will illustrate the difference quite vividly.

Because Joel identifies his own subjective metabolic forces as some species of objective Christ Impulse, he becomes absolutely self-absorbed, bloated with and hermetically sealed within the bubble of his own self-importance. Yet that very Narcissism of deliberately mistaking his own self-image for a being he believes is actually Christ leads to this seemingly counter-intuitive consequence --- to wit,  Joel would actually never stalk anybody! Why? Because that would bestow more importance on the human object of stalking rather than to his own self-image. Another way to put it is that Joel stalks everybody, humanity itself, but when you stalk everybody, then you really stalk nobody. So you have nothing to fear from Joel. He’s really only a danger and/or annoyance to himself.

On the other hand, Sune is actually not very narcissistic at all – and so he can stalk you that much more directly than Joel. Since Sune himself has such strong ego boundaries, he can thus lay siege to your ego boundaries as "Enemy Other" and violate them because he is more able to objectify them.

Look at the differences right in their comments above. It’s a "forest for trees" issue. For example, Zooey,  you very accurately used the expression “stuck up” to describe Joel. Yes, yes, yes, there is "le grand pomposeur" the "stuck-up" Joel, stuck up there in his Luciferic hot air balloon, looking down at you, me, Sune, everyone, as mere niggardly specks below him. On the other hand, Sune has the more focused individual tree perspective and thus he attacks you more directly because you are much more life-size, down to earth to him. Sune's personality does not interfere at all with his stalking of you.

But with Joel, as befitting a fantasy-rich Fathead, his personality or persona is paramount, much more important than you, me or any other underling human being, so he demands that you and I and everyone else recognize that it is the Great Joel the Great who is telling you these things and we all should be impressed with the Great Joel the Great’s great insights into our character, not because such assertions have any validity, but only because it is the Great Joel the Great who is making the assertions.  For example, see how he tries to impress everyone reading with his erudite esoteric references to the Holy Mother in Valentin Tomberg’s Tarot Meditations as well as the Heinlein reference, thus proving that he has a vast knowledge of art and culture beyond the bounds of mere anthroposophy.
Now consider how Sune is much more humble, yes, humble --- like the practical down to earth mechanical engineering-type. He always stays on message in buzzing you, and doesn’t get distracted by the overblown egotistical or narcissistic posturing that the Great Pomposeur, pompous Joel the Great takes.

Your suggestion that Sune take the Christ impulse and shove it up his arse reminds me that I need to end by showing what Joel and Sune do have in common. They both exhibit what I term MSM --- not mainstream media, but “Messianic Sense of Mission.”  And in the case of Anthroposophists, this Messiah is Christ.

I’ll develop this more next time, because such an analysis is important for the purposes Tom Last has set forth here on this PoF blog. But let me end this message by saying that whereas Joel is on a mission from God, i.e., himself which he identifies as the Christ-Being, Sune is on a mission from the Christ-Impulse, which is totally impersonal and even mechanistic (The Anthro equivalent of former Waldorf parent, George Lucas in Star Wars: “May the Force be with You.”)
