The Forces In The Soul Lecture 1: Higher Will and the Protective Function of Prayer
(52:00) This lecture addresses the role of prayer as a protective force of will that balances the action of a meditative practice.
Topics include, the biological imperative and dark will, creative will, manas and buddhi, prudence, jurisprudence and motive, desire transformed into the wish to do better, petitionary prayer, affirmation, worry, hygienic prayer, prayers of protection, praying for enemies, dissolving dark intent, protection is a subtle art, amending prayer.
The Forces In The Soul Lecture 2: The Embryonic Source of Temperament in the Soul
(60:00) This lecture addresses the idea that the embryological formations of liver, lung, kidney and heart in the first six weeks of gestation are the root of later temperamental disposition in the adult.
Topics include, life forces overriding self awareness, blood formation in yolk sac, the blood searching for the heart, the descent of the heart and the Word becoming flesh, kidney formation, shame and the sanguine temperament, the liver formation, the phlegmatic temperament and fear of life, the melancholic temperament, the lung and phobia, sensory digestion and control, the heart, the choleric temperament, type A personality, the adult balancing the four temperaments.
The Forces In The Soul Lecture 3: Embryology of the Face and the Force of the Logos
(48:00) This lecture traces the embryological formations of the throat and larynx in the human being to the action of the Logos or Holy Word in the cosmos.
Topics include the esoteric script, life gesture, formation of the throat and larynx, the nature of the Holy Word and the spoken word, the archetype of the descent of the heart, St. Paul and the way of love, the images from the embryo as the formative principle of the mask, the myth of Dionysos and the three levels of the gods.

Holy Frijoles, Batman...
Holy Frijoles those were good lectures!
Informative, well put together, humorous, contemporary but not kitschy, and most of all PRACTICAL...The way this guy can move from mind blowing concept to mind blowing concept with such ease is evidence that he has mastered the production of his own mental images (ie - Imagination for the anthropops out there).
His ability to speak to a group of young people on such a heart felt level - and really relate to the issues they need to meet the future - without the slightest note of condescension (especially in response to one question where it was almost deserved...listen to the lectures and you will know what I mean) or awkwardness is evidence of his profound humanity and the manifestation of 'higher forces' through his personality.
Even more significant is the fact that he was able to correlate these lectures with concepts found in The Philosophy of Freedom, which has also deepened my understanding of that work - especially its relationship to developing properly in the Consciousness Soul age.
I have not read any of Klocek's books and had previoulsy looked upon the title 'Seers Handbook' with nothing but contempt but now I know better - this guy is obviously 'the real deal' (as we like to say in America)...
If you have the time I HIGHLY recomend listening to these lectures - ESPECIALLY if you are facing major life challenges/decision points at this time.

Soul Forces
Thanks for the Beyond Polarities posts. I was there and look forward to revisiting the talks. In regards to Soul Forces, what you have posted as lectures 1, 2 & 3 are actually lectures 3, 4 & 5 of a five-part series. They stand nicely on there own, but are probably better preceded by lectures 1 & 2, on Freedom and Love & Thinking and Will, respectively. Thanks again for the site. I look forward to exploring it more thoroughly in the near future. Dewie

Just also realized that the Beyond Polarities lectures you have posted are missing the opening lecture, the first of six from that weekend, dealing with polarities of opposites and four points of spiritual activism as given by Martin Luther King, Jr. I remember this as being a great talk, and just wanted to let you know it was absent here in case you weren't aware. Selling knowledge
Knowledge cannot be owned but if someone needs to spend time disseminating it then they need to be fed, watered, clothed,and housed. The thing that may be sold is not the knowledge, but the soul. That is a matter for each of us to contend with as individuals. Judgement means something when inwardly applied.
