Is BioDymanics Obama's Secret?

Last week US President Barack Obama swept First Lady Michelle Obama off to a Broadway show -- to honor a promise made in the heat of his grueling 2008 campaign. Obama said: "I am taking my wife to New York City because I promised her during the campaign that I would take her to a Broadway show after it was all finished." After landing in New York, they helicoptered into Manhattan and motorcaded to the Blue Hill restaurant.

The Blue Hill restaurant focuses on sustainable ingredients from a nearby biodynamic farm. Guests can choose from the regular menu or opt for the "Farmer's Feast," a five-course tasting inspired by the week's harvest.

Food processing, agri-business, synthetic chemicals, etc. have decreased the nutrition in our food to the point it can dull our thinking. Are biodynamic foods the secret behind Obama’s clear thinking?

Obama may love the taste of BioDynamic food. But he's not a supporter of it...quite the opposite, actually.

Obama's appointment for Seceretary of the USDA is Tom Vilsack, GMO lover and buddy of Monsanto. Funny thing, too...when Obama listed him as a potential nominee before the election there was such outrage amongst his supporters that Obama was forced to withdraw him from the list. But just before Christmas, when Obama had been elected and nobody was paying attention, Obama announced that he had chosen Vlsack as his pick.

And there's no outrage about this, no resistance to it...nobody even seems to know, and those who do don't seem to care.

Obama has felt he can

Obama has felt he can nominate less idealistic characters but then direct them to carry out his policy. The government is so large I have wondered how these people could be micro-managed to be different than their background but this is the thing to watch, do they continue with their past policies or do they take a new direction under Obama's direction.

Part of moral technique is to find skilled "can do" people to carry out your moral imaginations. A lot of idealist liberals have good ideas about things like sustainable food but would not be able to get much done in a government position. We will see whose policies Vilsack carries out.

POF 12-3: It may happen that men with moral imagination lack technical skill, and must make use of other men for the realization of their mental pictures.

And what makes you think that Obama's direction is what he says it is? His actions, not his words, reveal his intentions.

One may lack technical skill to carry out the realization of their ideals...but there are plenty of other well-skilled choices he could have made!
