 Ethical Missing Link Found In Kansas Ethical scientists are converging on the small town of Winslow, Kansas as word gets out about what may be the missing link between traditional ethics of the past and a modern ethics of free individuality –"ethical intuition". Wayne Trimble, local college student home for Summer vacation gave this account, “Got up this morning and was thinking about what I should do today in purely conceptual terms without any reference to any specific things. I saw a certain value in all ethical principles and asked which principle is the more important in this moment, and suddenly an intuition sprung out of my thinking.” Wayne explained excitedly, “I then carried out an action determined purely and simply by its own ideal content. Of course, I was mindful of my current circumstances in the decision making process, but these did not determine my action; it sprang out of the ideal content of my thinking alone." Hoax?
