Consistent with his freedom philosophy called anthroposophy, Steiner designed a curriculum responsive to the developmental phases in childhood and nurturing of children's imaginations. The Waldorf curriculum encourages creativity and free-thinking, and tries to instill in students a feeling that they can shape the changing world in which they live.

Steiner School Visit
(14:03) Miss Kelly explores the differences between the educational systems and looks for new methods and practices to take away with her. The students at Brighton Steiner begin each day with a spiritual music and movement class, following their own Steiner Waldorf Curriculum. All management responsibility is held equally and shared out amongst the staff and the school.
