fear into fear; Love out of Love

I was thinking about what Tom recently posted about Prokofieff and courage. I agree with the first part of what Tom said about fear; that Prokofieff creates fear out of his own fear. Here are three statements that shed light on each other in the context of questions about fear and love, good and evil. I like Steiner's final quote. I wish he had always made this point clear when he spoke of evil because i think the anthro movement would do well to keep it in mind when we throw around our favorite mental pictures associated with the concept of "evil".

Forgive us our illusions, Father, and help us to accept our true relationship with You, in which there are no illusions, and where none can ever enter. Our holiness is Yours. What can there be in us that needs forgiveness when Yours is perfect? The sleep of forgetfulness is only the unwillingness to remember Your forgiveness and Your Love. Let us not wander into temptation, for the temptation of the Son of God is not Your Will. And let us receive only what You have given, and accept but this into the souls which You created and which You love. Amen.

"Spiritual science never uses the word “evil” for any transgression that does not stem from the ego." - Steiner
