Interestingly one of the five pillars of Islam is that you must believe in the unseen.
in stages of initiation in the book knowledge of the higher worlds on page 57 in the edition translated by christopher bamford, in paragraph 21, it says; "we should hold the thought that the invisible will become visible".in paragraph 22 it is said that the seed is enclosed in a small cloud of light and that that spiritually you will sense it as a kind of flame with a purplish colour at the centre and a blue colour at the edge, thus the invisible that is becoming visible is revealed to us in full technicolour!
paragraph 23 It is stressed here to remain sober, steadfast and lucid whilst undertaking this spiritual path. We have to be brave and not fearful and distinguish between illusion and truth..

What Does This Implicate?
Yes, good. Very good indeed. Now, what does this imply, necessarily, about our social relationships? What conduct is required of each us, what uniformity of attitude, given a universal commitment to the proposition that "the invisible will become visible?"
reply to carl
that is an interesting question I dont think it connects to calvinist ,sin, guilt, type of thing I think if you are being true to your own kind of morality , there are no set rules given here, it just indicates that to progress on the spiritual path as set out in knowledge of the higher worlds you should endeavour to have a sense of devotion ,positive thinking, courage, I think there is a meditation by R.Steiner that somehow answers your question about social relationships, it starts "In the mirror of each human soul the spirit of the community is living...." well I dont have my book with me but will put the full verse in tomorrow.jennyren.
Just checking in here.
