POF researchers needed.
Below are links to a new attempt to open up The Philosophy of Freedom to more people. It consists of diagrams, often somewhat humorous but meant to help with clarity and practical examples, bullet points which become more helpful in longer sections, additional paragraph breaks, and additional reference material such as expanded explanations found in other Steiner books and lectures. It is also grouped into topics according to outlooks.
The purpose of this is to help with what O'Neil calls "mastering the content" which is a prerquisite to serious study. Also to help with the learning of the basic principles and self-observations throughout the book.
I plan to try and keep ahead of the current website weekly study group starting with chapter 6 and continue through the book. The finished work is posted in the forum. When done it should be a helpful study aid for those who might have difficulty making it through the book otherwise.
Because of the shifting styles and approaches in POF these attempts sometimes work for awhile and then collapse in a later chapter so it is unknown whether these study aids will carry through the book.
Researchers needed. If you find any helpful quotes in other books or lectures related to specific POF sections please let me know. POF is very brief and other Steiner sources are around that expand on some of the brief mentions in POF. The 3 Steiner books preceding POFexpand on many POF ideas. Or if you think I have a diagram wrong let me know. The diagrams could be done many ways and are just a particular view but that view should be legitimate for the section.

Pictures
I think this is a great development Tom. As you say it really draws people in who otherwise might run out of puff with all those words and concepts to juggle.
Also somehow you can't argue with a picture can you you just have to accept it for what it is, one view of things. A picture paints a thousand words but a concept paints a thousand pictures...
Where's The Full POF Study Course?
Hello Tom,
I used to be able to scroll down on the right side of the home page and click on the Study Course and read posts from any previous chapter: 1-5 of the POF. I know longer can find this, and I am only able to access chapter 6 from this page. I have looked around for the full study, so I can read what has gone before, etc, without success. Does this still exist and how might I find it? Thanks for all you do,
Gerald
