Strange there should be confusion over Steiner’s date of birth – bit of a muddle really.
And then we read the familiar report-
At the beginning we note the following unusual circumstances: Rudolf Steiner was born shortly before midnight on February 25, 1861, in the tiny
Rudolfus Josephus Laurentius Steiner
or, as we would say:
Rudolf Joseph Laurence Steiner.
Another muddle of strange circumstances.
So let us look at what John Jocelyn says about Rudolf Steiner’s astrological placements;
‘We meet a very highly evolved Piscean in this Christ-initiate, Rudolf Steiner who had three planets in Pisces; the Sun in the degree of ‘Testing’ in the sense of examining and proving; and Mercury and Neptune conjunct at twenty eight degrees, giving him a ‘direct, open line’ to higher worlds.
If we look at an ephemeris for the year 1861 and the date 25th – Mercury and Neptune are not conjunct at twenty-eight degrees.

When we look at the date the:
1st March 1861 we see it is the only time over this period (Jan/Feb/March) that Mercury and Neptune are conjunct at twenty-eight degrees in Pisces. With the Sun in Pisces at 10 degrees 25 minutes.

Is it coincidence Rudolf was born in the degree of ‘Testing’ to be examined and proved and is it a coincidence the total eclipse on Tuesday the 28th happened in 10 degrees 35 minutes Pisces?
