meditation

in response to daves enquiry re meditation; sometimes one presumes all followers of anthroposophy are meditating, sometimes only members of christian community or teachers, or members of the first clas school of spiritual science.

sometimes you might have stumbled upon a book or person that has given you a meditation.

If you fall into none of these categories then you most probably will have to teach yourself. First thing is get a copy of verses and meditations by rudolf steiner.

In the preface is a pretty good explanation on meditation. Then the thing is to find a focus.

to do this, settle on one meditation the best ones have two parts, one to be said in the morning and one in the evening, these I found are best for a daily meditation.

make a commitment to yourself to practice this particular one for 6 months. you really will feel and experience progress in the spiritual world.
